Fits Older Valves
After posting a question asking if I could fit this unit to an old valve and not getting a reply I decided to order 1 and see if it fitted. Although the description says it fits all Danfoss Valves I wasn't sure if it fitted a valve that was approximately 35 years old.The first, 3rd &5th pictures show the old valve mechanical head I wanted to replace. When I received the new Bluetooth unit I discovered that one of the supplied adapters enabled me to fit the new head to the existing valve which was easy to do. There should be no need to get a professional to fit it for you, just follow the instructions. The last two pictures shows the new unit fitted to the old valve.Connection via Bluetooth on my mobile phone to the new device using the app was extremely slow. Things improved slightly by pressing the button or rotating the manual temp set ring on the head as suggested by the help section of the app. This problem will occur on some but not all smart phones.Once connected the app was reasonably easy to use to set the temperature, set daily adjustments and set holiday period temperatures. To utilise Alexa to control the valve I think you need a separate device. When fitting the new unit to an existing valve make sure that the operating pin sticking out of the valve moves freely. You should be able to push it right in with your finger and it spring returns to the original position. If it doesn't, use some WD40 and exert pressure to the pin until it moves freely in and out. If this pin does not move the valve will not operate at all.I tested the valve by setting the valve to below room temperature and I could hear the water flowing through the radiator. I then set the unit to above room temperature and eventually the valve closed and the water flowing sound completely stopped. The valve operation is virtually silent. After I fit the other units I have ordered and if I find any difficulty I will amend this review.

Good
Purchased so we could turn the heating down in a bedroom during the day whilst it was on in the rest of the house. Setup was fairly easy and programming via the app was straightforward. Most importantly, it works and it's very quiet in operation. As others have said, the app takes a few seconds to connect up to the TRV, although it's quicker if you're close. Also, you can only set two temperatures for the day, which seems a bit daft. On the plus side setting copying and pasting schedules between days is a breeze.

Clunky but work
I have these on all my radiators. The Bluetooth app is a bit clunky, but overall they provide the automation required at a reasonable cost

Not fit for purpose
We fitted 014G1115 Eco Thermostat TRV heads to Danfoss RA-FS TRV valves on all of our radiators. The temperature sensor within the Eco Head significantly differed from actual air temperature, measured next to it, using an accurate thermometer. The TRV head would under read by up to 5 degrees C (actual room temp 24.4, measured Eco TRV temp 18.5, set target temp 21), resulting in the TRV head still allowing full radiator flow when the actual room temp was way above the target. The TRV head was unobstructed with free flowing air all around it.The TRV head was extremely unresponsive to ambient temperature variations with resultant large under and over shoots. In the worst measured case, 10 degrees lower actual room air temperature than the target setpoint. There seem to be 2 problems:The TRV head temperature measurement is significantly inaccurate (usually low); The TRV valve opening / closing algorithm is incredibly slow to respond, taking hours to adjust, or doesn't respond at all, resulting in large actual temperature under/over shoots.Danfoss UK customer service responded after 1 month to say, (in dreadful English), that the valves should be fitted on the top of radiators and side on (ie a European style fitting). As UK radiators usually are bottom fitting, vertical valves, the TRVs (according to Danfoss customer service themselves), aren't fit for purpose for a UK valve. That is totally contradictory to the fitting instructions and app settings, which specifically envisage UK style, vertical fitting. The idea behind the valves is great, we had no problem with the app, Bluetooth control, setting time and day planner points. If the actual valves did what the app was showing they were meant to do and had an accurate temperature sensor, they'd be perfect.Bottom line the valves did not operate as advertised, I have reverted to dumb Danfoss TRV heads which work fine. I returned all valves for a full refund with no problems as Amazon themselves were the seller.

Excellent product
Excellent product, temperature control is great works well with mobile phone.

Easy to control via phone.
Used to control lounge temperature which isn’t usually occupied during the day, whereas other rooms are. I would have bought another isn’t compatible with the valve and the adapter is no longer available at a reasonable price. As long as the old head screws on it should be compatible.

Unreliable
Bought 2 of these, first worked ok, second refused to control properly just went to E6 code which means motor jammed, ( fault code list not readily available , found on Danfoss website ) Swapped with other unit on a different radiator, same result, gave up in disgust. Unfortunately outside return period now. The instruction and operational description is pretty poor from Danfoss, having worked with their equipment for many years.
