I have used this regularly since I got it. It has a high quality display with great lighting. I had mine more than three years when the display started developing horizontal lines across the display. The product has a two year warranty. I wrote them an email and sent a picture of my unit showing the lines. I ask if they could help me with a replacement? I was hoping they would sell me just a part at a reduced price. They replied they would replace it at no cost! It doesn’t get better than that. Thank You again.

This is such a useful microscope I'm able to choose any zoom level with the provided stand and then i can finely dial in the focus. The additional lights make it really easy to light up the trichome heads that I'm trying to photograph. The remote control makes it really easy to control the microscope without messing with the focus allowing me to consistently take sharp photos.

The overall quality is good, about what you would expect for such an affordable unit. First one purchased the lights did not work on the base. Second one works good. Little confusing when first powering up and you have to select from a list...took me a few tries to figure out how to get the camera to display on the screen.

To look at coins does great for that purpose

This is a great value and it's pretty easy to use, but the main problem I have is the image on the screen is always so dark. I have the included lights on the camera bright, the side lights shining right on the part, I have even used an external LED super bright flashlight and the darn auto dimming keeps it at the same dark level no matter what. The images you see in the description are nowhere near the same brightness. It CAN go brighter as it starts real bright and clear image but immediately dims to where you can't make out fine details and wires.As soon as you move a soldering iron in or a tweezers, it blocks the light, the software doesn't brighten it, and you can't see what you are working on. I found a magnifying glass with an LED ring does a far better job unfortunately. $100 waste but I guess it can be given to the kid for an expensive toy.

I have had this for almost a year but it has been used very little. It is not usable any longer because it turns its self on and off, on and off. It does this until it runs out of battery. Two year warranty is no good because you can’t find any. DON’T waste your money.

This thing is awesome. My husband is a coin collector and he was having a hard time finding markings on the older coins. Evan with the magnifying glass. The displace on this is unbelievable. Showed it to some other collectors. They were so impressed they ordered one too.Only thing is the instruction are ok. The video on here shows more on how to put it together. It also came with a round silver plastic piece. Have no idea what if is for. But all in all very good investment.
