As someone who has 2 raw fed dogs I always have this and it’s great for them and not expensive! Always a great option. Seems like there’s not a lot of powder but you only give them a littttttle bit at a time so it actually last a super long time. I have 2 dogs that get it daily and I’ve had this for months and still have barley made a dent in the bottle. Highly recommend!

I got this for my dog, so can't comment on the taste. This is the brand that is recommended by most dog nutritionists to those who feed their dogs a homemade diet. This provides the iodine requirements necessary as most homemade diets are lacking in this micronutrient. Regardless of how health your dog's meal looks (with muscle proteins, organ meat, veggies, low glycemic grains, etc.), you will need iodine supplemented. The scoop included is very VERY tiny. For most dogs, you will need less than 1 scoop on a daily basis. My one gripe is that the scoop is often lost in the contents of the powder. You have to dig around for it, and the powder is so fine, that it often plumes out of the bottle in a big green cloud of dust. I wish the handle was longer so I wouldn't make such a mess searching for the scoop.
