Armor AllFRESHfx SmokeX Citrus Breeze Car Air Freshener Spray - 3.5 OZ

I cannot even believe how amazing this product is! Last week, we took our three dogs to the park for a walk. Two of the dogs dove under a bush and one of them came out holding the skunk by the head and shaking the skunk. She wouldn't let the skunk go, so my poor husband literally had to remove the skunk from her mouth. We had to put the dogs (and ourselves) in the car for the ride home. I scrubbed the car down with hydrogen peroxide/baking soda/dish soap, I have rinsed and scrubbed again - multiple times - with Nature's Miracle Skunk Odor Eliminator. Both helped some. The stink went from physically nauseating and physically painful to merely horribly stinky. I left all windows and the tailgate open all day/night. I toyed with the idea of leaving the key in the ignition with a free to a good home sign and taking my chances with insurance (just kidding - but it was that bad!). I never thought my car would be the same. Then, an animal control officer friend suggested this product. They had used it after transporting a skunked pet in their work truck and were happy with the results. I ordered two cans. The first removed the odor from the car. I could have cried from the joy of it! The car is so much better! Our clothes and the dog collars and leashes were still stinky after many soaks and runs through the washing machine. They were better, but nothing you would want to wear or put back on the dogs. But I had that second can. I spread out the collars and clothes in the car and set off the second can of fogger. Wow! No more smell! I can't believe it! This was miraculous! I would recommend to anyone!

I tried to reach out to Armor All prior to writing this review as I'm sure the product I received was not intended to be a rip off and I wanted to give them a chance to make things right but they do not have a contact me button on their page so I'm forced to share my woe with all of Amazon in the hopes that they'll see my negative review and reach out to make things right.I received the Armor All 18505 Car Air Freshener and Purifier in a timely manner but the box looked like it had been opened before and it was taped shut. I got past the tape and pulled the can out and gave it a little shake because it felt very light and while there was some product in the can, it was very obvious to me that it was much less than even half full. Okay, this is the first time I've ever used this product maybe a quarter full is all the cans are supposed to be filled.I went to my car, started it up, turned the a/c on high and set the button to recirculate and pressed the lever on the can. The lever wouldn't stay down. Oh sheesh, I run in the house, get some heavy duty tape and attempt to tape the lever down while directing the spray into my car to get as much of the 1/4 of the product in the can in the vehicle. After about 20 seconds of trying to tape the lever down, I realize I can't do it but it's not really a problem because the can has stopped spraying. 20 seconds of spray was all I got. I did go ahead and close my car door and let it run with the a/c and the recirculation set just for grins.Long story short, I got in the car the next day and smelled nothing. Didn't work one little bit.I'm hopeful Armor All will make this right by sending me one that does work. I'm not asking for a refund as it's a product I'd like to try and use with success but I'm not going to pay for another one until things are made right with my first order. Feel free to hit me up Armor All. I generally love your products and understand that every now and again *bleep* happens so I'm not going to hold this against you if you make me whole.

I have done some research and I am not sure what this product does. Does it kill the bacteria, or does it just add a scent that is so potent it covers up the bad scent?... Still unknown. What I do know, is the scent of this product is so potent, it will successfully cover up whatever bad scent you currently have. If you have removed the source of the bad scent, this will either kill the bacteria (unknown), or at least it will cover up the scent of any other scents. In that regard it was successful.I had a rodent die in the ac system. This is worst case scenario because the bacteria are sprayed throughout the car when the fan is turned on. After removing the rodent and everything else I could. This product successfully covered up the smell or was circulated long enough throughout the ac system to kill the bacteria (unknown). Anyways I would recommend this product and the scent I bought.

Hmmm. After all that, the scent stays around for a day and then the smoke odor came right back. Of course I cleaned everything first, wiped the headliner with foam cleaner, all interior and seats as well, before I did the bomb.I had the car running with the aircond on recirculating, set the bomb and let it sit in the car for 15 mins.It did "rapidly" eliminate the odor, but the odor also "rapidly" came back :(

We didn't know it, but a cooler leaked into the bottom of the back area of our RV, on our way home from a fishing trip. We didn't catch any fish, but we ended up with a terrible smell that grew worse and worse every day. We tried airing the car out in the sun, for days. We tried other smell-eliminator products that were completely ineffective. Car places told us that we would probably have to remove the back seats completely to get to the funk out of the floor carpe under the back seats. Crazy expensive estimate for labor. We were actually thinking we'd have to get rid of the car.As a last resort....we tried Armour All Car Freshener and Purifier, in Citrus Breeze. The next day, the smell was completely gone, and there was no sickly cover up smell. Problem Solved! Thanks so much Armour All.
