I'm trying to move away from using plastic straws for two reasons:(1) I realized how much I was sending to the landfill and(2) I'm trying to avoid consuming chemicals that leach out of the plastic.I have tried paper/cardboard straws and they're OK, but I don't love them. So I ordered these metal ones to try. And I *do* love the metal ones. I kept one in a glass of ice water for a long time last night and it did decrease in temperature somewhat, but it wasn't freezing against my tongue. I couldn't taste anything metallic, either.These do require cleaning but they come with a bottle brush. It's very easy to use (I just get a little dish soap in the tip of a straw, then run some water through and scrub with the brush, then rinse and lay flat on a paper towel to dry).Oh, and I've used the little orange peeler thing dozens and dozens of time. I love it. (I make juice every weekend and it speeds up the process enormously.)

The straws are handy. A bit small in diameter, great for sodas. Not great, okay, for ice cream shakes. Orange peeler cutting stub is too short to use for thick navel orange skins (what I buy). but okay.

I never thought I'd like metal straws. I bought them at the recommendation of my sister-in-law, and I've never looked back. They're my favorite things. I use them every day! I've bought several packs to give to other people who now love them as much as I do. I found the easiest way to clean them is to simply stand them up on one of the prongs in the lower rack of the dishwasher. No more lost straws!

I like how these come with a cleaner to make sure nothing is stuck inside them after washing. The orange peeler was a nice added bonus. Both work well. These straws will not fit into the large stainless steel tumblers everyone is buying now days. But I did purchase some longer ones that fit nicely. These are good for use at home with our regular cups. No guilt constantly throwing away every straw we use.

The straws are great. My only complaint is that drinking a viscous drink, like a protein shake, required more effort than something like water or tea due to the small diameter of the straw. Otherwise, perfect.The brush is appreciated, but the citrus peeler is not necessary and should not be included.

Good quality, does not feel comfortable to the touch of teeth, but it's what you would expect with metal straws. The peel cutter is awesome though!

The straws are very nice. They are better quality than i expected. The orange peeler did not come with the straws, however it came with a banana slicer. The banana slicer is good though.

good quality & fit great in pint jars. but the bend is a little low for quart jars. orange peeler works well but is not the one shown.
