Q: Where is this made, & is it all metal construction?

I think it's made in the USA. It is all metal except the tray. The tray warps in the dishwasher. All in all it does the job. I quickly went to a Norwalk

Q: Is this hand pull or automatic and can it press sugar canes?

This is a manual pneumatic press -- much like what you'd see for changing a flat tire on your car. As for sugar cane, I wouldn't say it can handle something so fibrous. If you removed the outside "bark" and wanted to press just the inside, you could get away with it, but it wouldn't extract 100% of the juice.

Q: 1st Champion Juicer without strainer, 2nd Wells Press. Will this method also work to produce fresh og olive oil from fresh green/black olives?

That is a great question. I asked the manufactuer and they said that the machine is not really intended for that purpose. It seems that the pressing would produce olive juice which would then have to be separated from the small amounts of oil that would be present. Plus i believe that a tremendous amount of olives would be needed to produce a small yield. Sorry, it is not the answer you wanted but it is a great machine for health anyway. It is a great machine to use with a good juicer like the Champion to get a high mineral content from carrots and greens. Also, allows you to get more juice out of your produce .

Q: Can it be used for olive oil extraction?

Probably can do so, not sure how efficient it will be verses an olive press
