probably all the DIY plumber needs
For an inexpensive wrench, this works extremely well for this occasional DIY plumber. It is of better quality than any pipe wrench available for a reasonable price at my 2 neighborhood big box stores. Highly recommended.

Made a fool of a tool!
These work really well and the teeth haven't worn down after several uses. It was a good day when "that" coworker of mine swore they would break the first time I used these because they werent name brand. Told him "be my guest" to try and break them, and try he did. Much to his chagrin, they refused to give! Buy good tools and they'll do you good too.

Does the job. Removed two stuck hose with this. Though, a 12" would be easier and there is more torque.
