Consistent quality that I have come to expect from Silk. Perfect for the lactose intolerant, and the milk lacks the weird aftertaste of pea or nut based milks. The single serving boxed are a bit pricey, but I am unable to locate a consistent source of cold case Chocolate Silk in my area. There is the added bonus of not having to finish the soy milk off quickly since the single serve boxes are shelf stable.

These are really convenient for a variety of purposes. I like to keep them on hand for school lunches, road trips, hotel stays and more. During a recent power outage, we used these without worrying about refrigeration. I have stored them in my hot car for long periods of time and have frozen them without any problems. While reordering the very vanilla silk, I saw the chocolate and decided to try. We all liked it. The chocolate flavor is not super sweet or strong but it’s not chalky either. Very smooth. We are not big fans of dairy milk and prefer soy and other plant milks. Really happy with this product.

I like that this soy chocolate milk isn’t too sweet and you don’t smell the soy milk as well. Is has good amount of protein as well. My son also loves it he’d drink 2-3 cartons a day.

My kids hate school lunch (can you blame them?). I feel good about sending them with these in their lunch boxes. Also, I like that they come in Aseptic cartons so there is no rush to use them before they expire like regular milk. The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 is price--they are expensive. Costco used to sell these for a lot cheaper, but now the Costco in my area no longer carries them. I'm glad Amazon has them, I just wish they weren't so expensive.

It's so frustrating that soy has become the pariah of plant-based milks. It's got the highest naturally occurring protein, foams well and tastes great. Silk Soy Chocolate Milk is a perfect example. Really good taste without being too thick or cloying, and great nutritional balance. The individually packaged milks are shelf-stable, portable and a great pick-me-up for whenever you need a boost.
