My daughter is not an avid reader but she read the first book of the series and loved it!

I love this book, its my favorite out of the whole series! Its amazing!

As a treat for my niece I let her order a book from Amazon. It arrived quickly and in good condition. She had it read in a day, she is a real bookworm, this is part of a series which she said is "just wonderful"!

A masterfully imaginative adventure with truly endearing characters that is in the same vein as the Harry Potter books, starting in reality and venturing into the incredible. You may buy it for your kids but you will enjoy it just as much yourself. I can happily recommend this book to everyone young and young at heart alike

My 9-yr old son is so excited to start reading this book. We read the first book to each other so that I could check on his reading level and so that I could read a bit to him too. I love reading to my kids but they get to a certain age where being read to is 'not the done thing'.We both loved the book and enjoyed the reading experience, so much so that when my son learned there was a second book he begged me to get it for him. We get started on the book tonight and book three is hidden away until his birthday in a few weeks.

The first book was brilliantly written and this one is just as brilliant. Chris Colfer is a fantastic author. The story is so intriguing that it's impossible to put the book down. I cannot wait until the 3rd book is released. I do hope he keeps writing books as they are truly wonderful for anyone to read. A+++++

I'm so glad I had this book pre-ordered since March; It was truly incredible. I read this in 2 days, and couldn't put it down. Initially, I did buy the first one just because Chris Colfer wrote it, however I purchased the second one because I loved the first one so much. I don't care if it is a child's book, I read it and even shed a tear at the ending. It was definitely the best book I read all summer. I can't wait to read it again and again, then eventually to my children and grandchildren. It's definitely worth the money and will be a book you will cherish forever.
