Review of two styles
Nice fit and coverage of the entire back. I bought the Large and it is big on my 70 lb lab, but I was able to adjust the straps for a good fit. I do not like the attachment of the side straps. They are not quick release. It is a hook and loop system which is too difficult and tight to connect quickly. I am replacing those with 1 inch quick release buckles that I bought. I also bought a large and a medium of the “full coverage” vests. These snap over the spine with quick releases. The M and the L were both too small for my 70lb lab and fit awkwardly. Or rather the way they fit gives very little coverage for the back and mostly cover the chest and stomach. I returned these.

Good visibility
Bought this for my wood hikes during deer season, and to help keep eyes on him in general. It’s very visible and easy to see even with the fall colors. He’s a 75lb German American mutt, and the large fits him well and has plenty of adjustment for a larger dog. The photos should give you an idea of how much adjustment is remaining. The hooks to attach it are a little difficult when new but that seems to be by design to prevent them from loosing it in the brush. Once you get it adjusted right it slips on easy enough. He got used to it fast but rolled around treating it like a toy trying to bite it off at first. He’s only two and still has plenty of puppy left in him. Edit: added a photo of him with a backdrop of fall leaves to show the visibility.

Don't hold up to long term hard use
I like these vests, they fit my deep chested/thin waisted pointers well and protect their chests pretty well while hunting but they don't hold up for long term use. I have had to buy new ones after 1 season. The edges start to fray and there is thread hanging off it. The Velcro is very sticky to start but is very hard to clean and once it gets full of dirt and things it doesn't stay together well. They are relatively cheap and I do put them through the ringer every hunting season so I am ok with buying new ones but if you sre expecting this to be a long term use and purchase for a hunting dog, you might be dissapointed.

Protects the chest well
Saved my dog's chest when she runs through the brush and forest. Prior to this plate she'd get so scratched up and have injuries for days. We don't use this for hunting, rather, or dog loves to run in the forest and fetch. But I could see it being very useful for upland game hunting.

1 Year Review
I bought this 1 year and 2 days ago. I am an upland game bird hunter looking for a decent visibility vest as well as something to protect the dog, especially in more harsh conditions. I hunt the upper midwest and put anywhere between 30-40 days out in the field each fall. So lots of use. Dec. 2022 Purchase to January 3rd, 2022 end of season- The vest was great. Worked well and did a good job. Dec. 2023- The velcro is now not sticking. Yesterday the velcro wouldn't hold and she shed the vest off going through cattails/snow. I ended up retrieving it and carrying out after our walk. Thoughts? I think for the guy who averages a weekend here or there it might be fine. I see no need for this to be on a dog with a good coat (lab, retriever, setter, etc..) simply because most of the orange is underneath so if you are using it for visibility, there are probably better ones with more orange on the top of the dog. Using it in light grass and such, you will be probably be good as well. I think running a dog through thick cattails it just isn't going to hold up or that is what I am experiencing now. I will try to clean up the velcro this week and make sure no seeds or weeds are causing the issue and then will try it again this weekend. If I don't do a follow-up, then it just isn't working and I will probably need to find something else. If I get it figured out and it holds up, I will post an update.

Can't say you did not see this one.
This vest provides very good visibility in a lightweight package, the color is vibrant with a reflective stripe, and the medium fits our 52 pound Australian Shepard vey well. I gave it a five out of five across the board, for the following reasons. For durability and sturdiness, it is a thinner material but seems tough with the straps and buckles being quality materials also. This vest is not meant as protection but for visibility, so I think it is going to last a long time for its intended purpose. For comfort, our dog seemed to tolerate it well and it fit him good, he has worn it for several hours of activity and does not act as though he has any issues with it.

Not an Upland Vest
This is a safety vest and not an upland hunting vest. I purchased this vest for my lab to protect her when running through the brush pheasant and grouse hunting. After wearing it only a couple hours the bottom separated, frayed and the sticking is coming apart. We’ll be lucky to get another use out of it. Honestly I expected more from a Browning product.

Good vest for the money
Bought for my GSP, fits her perfectly. Definitely protected her bottom during the hunting season, the neoprene has the scars to show it. Vest is still good but after a season and weekly washing the Velcro is toast. I wish they put a more durable Velcro on it, otherwise it’s a great vest for the price and our needs.

If you have. working dog or a very active dog that likes running through brambles, gorse... rocks .. then you'll be acutely aware of the damage to their undercarriage! Stab wounds, Cuts, rips tears pussy postules all the product of a active dog in the woodlands or commons. Since buying this lightweight harness my dog can be out for hours and not come back with a scratch to the underside. Unfortunately his legs still get battered! But he's 'alive' when he's out there and 'alive' when he comes back. Great product and allows him to breath too as not neoprene.
