I love this author's way of writing, light hearted, a little naughty. fun & I always " see" the people within the stories.Book arrived in a good used condition very speedily. Especially for the time of year.

I loved this book. I read it over a week, pacing myself, not letting myself gallop through. I fell in love with the characters, the family; particularly Flora, and I thought her relationship with her daughters was brilliantly done. Flora definitely made the right choice; I finished the book in bed on Sunday morning, a cup of tea cooling by my side. The last line was so very perfect!

Bought for my friend who deserves lots of smiley moments on her holiday. I know this book won’t disappoint!

Having read all of Catherine Alliott's books, I'm a fan already but this book certainly won't disappoint anyone who hasn't read any of her books before. It got me in the mood for my upcoming trip to France. A great summer read.
