It's a good book which suggest about what to eat and not to eat in PCOS

Disappointing lack of flavour
After using different books for PCOS diet, I felt these meals to be tasteless and far too big. The mushroom barley soup was in unpalatable and huge, it tasted so stodgy that I threw most of it in the bin. The chicken nuggets were so dry that it felt a waste of chicken. I thought that people with PCOS should not eat soy, gluten, or dairy? Felt so much of this books receipes contain these. The receipes serve 6 people, which means you have to divide all the ingredients by 6. Just a badly put together book all in all.

It is a nicely organised book however it includes some soy based products which anyone with pcos knows need to be avoided! Good ideas otherwise. I was considering returning the book because the inclusion of soy based products but I will keep it as it has good meal ideas.

I'm sure the recipes do what they say, but ...
I'm sure the recipes do what they say, but they are too "different" to tempt my teenager with. Needed more straight forward,not fancy,recipes.

Authors have no understanding of nutrition
Most importantly the book labels mushroom barley soup as gluten free yet barley contains gluten. It claims that with PCOS you should not eat soy, gluten, or dairy yet many of the recipes include ingredients that contain these. The meal plans make no sense. If you follow their serving size recommendation you will eat 808 calories (plus snacks I am assuming) on day 1 and 1223 calories (plus snacks) on day 2. The book also states that you should never eat fewer than 1500 calories in a day. I am very disappointed by this book.

Educational
Very educational book for people with PCOS, a lot of information, especially for the map of the carbs that are beneficial in this condition.Easy to ready and absorb, contains also useful information for daily lifestyle and how to organize things in order to be easier for you.
