Bumper broke into several pieces while installing flooring in my house. I ended up ordering this bumper and to be honest I wasn’t sure the bumper would’ve fixed the nailer. To my surprise this $21 part fit perfectly and it took about 10 minutes to replace. I saved $400 with a $21 replacement part!

This was a perfect replacement for my unit which is the version that has the metal spacer (a big metal washer) that sits adjacent to the bumper in the piston. The most difficult part of the repair was finding a long t-handle (3/16 or 5.5) Allen wrench. The factory puts white locktight on the socket head cap screws so it took some pursuading…. I got the wrench on Amazon next day for $4.25.

Gun was jaming and spewing bits from worn down bumper. Easy replacment and gun works like new.

Repaired my old Bostich Hardwood floor stapler. Perfect fit.

Replaced the old bumper on my Bostitch MIII floor stapler that was disintegrating and driving staples too deep. Works as good as new again
