Q: The adapter at the end of the T-handle. Is this tool made to handle an impact driver, or will that damage it?

if you use an impact to tighten a faucet nut, you're going to have some major problems. when you then the T-handle on a basin wrench, the whole wrench moves. So if you tried to use an impact or a socket the whole wrench would be spinning around the nut. And usually when you're using a wrench like this it's because the space is limited. This basin wrench is pretty awesome. It's also pretty heavy compared to others. But the pivot on the T-handle has come in handy quite a few times in the couple of months this has been in my tool box. Plus, it's from Ridgid and they're warranty is excellent.

Rigid by name rigid by nature.

Very expensive in comparison to similar designed tools. But I don’t care, because it fixed my tap drama quickly. LED was surprisingly useful and saved considerable fumbling around time. Does have annoying rattle, but still a sturdy item…3/8 adapter slot was not needed so far. But that option tipped my hand for the purchase decision. Actually glad of the purchase

Won't telescope

I can't get the telescoping section to come out due to a stiff pin stuck through the handle. Am I meant to remove it? How do I do that?

the wrench although a good idea its just to big and bulky to get behind baths to remove tap backnuts , then the weight of it whilst struggling starts making tiresome ,would definitely recommend to stay clear of this
