Trinity College London Rock & Pop 2018 Drums Grade 1

All songs are abridged and adapted versions of the originals (which is to be expected). Even though this book is aimed at those fairly new to drumming, some of the tracks are boringly repetitive, and the adaptions make some sound 'wrong' compared to the versions of the songs you know. Backing tracks are OK, but method of accessing the tracks is frustrating.FYI: A computer is needed to download the tracks before adding them to music library on smartphone, otherwise a data connection is needed to use the app on iPhones every time you want to play them. No app for Android - need to select desktop version of the webpage in order to access the tracks.

My son is starting Grade 1 in Rock and Pop drums and this book is the official source material for the test. Excellently set out with the requirements, and a great price.

There is an app that my son is using when playing drums. Very motivating for young musicians.

Loved this book as a beginner drummer. The songs are 100% the notation of the real songs due to copyright however they do a good job or introducing you to notation, learning tracks, and links to their tracks with the singer or click or with just the backing track.Great start for newbies
