Great Resource For Learning About The Animals "Down Under"!
I bought these as teaching aids to help my kids learn about different animals around the world. Concepts are so much easier for them to grasp if they can hold and play with the animals they're leaning about, rather than just reading about them in a book. The animals are well crafted, the pieces have been nicely painted and they're fairly detailed which helps them look more realistic - the snake has scales, the Cockatoo has feathers ridges, and others have fur. They also have their names on the underside in case you need help identifying what they are. Most of the pieces in this set stand up on their own fairly well, although some are a little wobbly. The only one there's a problem with is the Cockatoo - his feet are bent a bit too much and he likes to fall forward instead of standing up. He's also a little large to fit easily in the tube too and has to be wriggled in.The only thing I find a little cumbersome is the tube itself. While it's great for storing, it's compact size and odd shape makes it difficult to get the animals in and out - the rope handle also seems to get in the way. Other than the somewhat troublesome tube, the animals in this set are great and I will definitely be buying more of these collections.

Cute & realistic.
I bought this for my great nephew's 2nd birthday. He has several varieties of the toob characters. My niece said that the Safari Ltd. quality is better than other brands. Just be aware that the pieces are small, so know thy child!

type of toy
These small animals are the best I have ever owned. First the number is great (12), and then the animals are made very well and very colorful. I am really impressed with this toob. When I had a problem and wrote to the seller, I received another in a few days and received a return tag immediately.

Good safari limited toob
We love the safari limited brand for the nice details (also, they write the names on the bottom of all their animals, so if your child is like my son and wants to learn the whole animal kingdom this will help you know the right terminology). We usually get our toobs at the craft store but they don’t carry this down under toob so took the risk and ordered off amazon. It’s perfect. This toob has animals that seem particularly well detailed.

Toobs are Always a Hit
I've never met a kid who didn't love Toob animals. Glad to add more variety to our collection with this set.

I like it, however
I like it, however, I am not happy about the lack of a piece. The Aboriginal man is not in the set as advertised per the picture. On closer inspection the title says 11 pieces, which is accurate, but the item description says 12 and lists it specifically. "Learn about the unique animals of Australia with our Land Down Under TOOB. Safari Ltd TOOBS are collections of individually hand painted miniature replicas featuring vibrant colors, fine, professional sculpting, and accurate detail. The Land Down Under TOOB contains twelve toys, including: an Emu, Tasmanian Devil, Koala with Baby, a Kangaroo, Aboriginal, Dingo, Frilled Lizard, Cockatoo, Platypus, Taipan, Wombat, and Crocodile."Otherwise, as many of the Safari toobs are, it is lovely. But I would prefer getting what is advertised as these toobs aren't the cheapest things.

Fab for Grandson
My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves animals. I searched for Australian animals and to get the 4 to 5 inch animals fromAustralian was affordable but the shipping was like $42.00. The animals I received are small but he loves them. Henow has to have a small suitcase to transport his animals home after a day at "Nomi's." He gets very upset if his parents forget to bring his animals when he comes over everyday to stay with me. He will grab 4 or 5 when he goes home if his suitcase is not here. So happy he is happy. He can name them all.

Add it to the lessons
These are made really well and great for when learning about Australia. I added them to the homeschool lesson over the country.
