Noticably lower quality but also not official.
Got it today to replace the original that came with my arctis 7's. It's not the same quality but it's also cheaper than original replacements, so I'm not complaining. Its soft, stretchy and black with a faint geometric pattern on the fabric and a, what I assume is, a faux leather patch. The velcro material is really find and grabs the fabric of the band really well, so if you do need to adjust it beyond what it's really meant to, it should still hold good n strong.If you're a deft hand at sewing I do doubt believe you could transfer the original patch and velcro is you so wanted to. No need though.The original had stretched so much that I had to rubber band the tab down on the other side of the headband. As in I had to adjust it so much it nearly reached the right ear cup. Still had flex in it though.Anyway, this replaces that, but I already had to adjust it about one Velcro patch tighter as it's just that much too long. Not going to complain though I've worn the headset for 6 hours today and I can barely feel it.

Great replacement!
This is a great replacement for when the headband starts losing its elasticity. Exactly like the original one and very easy to replace.

Dont waste your time and money buying this thinking its a perfect fit for the artic 5... its not... what it is, is false advertising.

A nice replacement.
A satisfactory replacement for the official Steelseries headband especially if you’re not a fan of the colour pattern on the 9X.The only thing I found worth mentioning was the length of the replacement.I think it’s slightly too long especially if you’re adjusting the band for smaller heads. The velcro pads almost miss each other which wouldn’t be a problem if the band was an inch or two shorter, It would stop the end of the band flapping around for starters. Time will tell how long the band lasts before it stretches out and needs replacing,at least they’re not expensive.Apart from that I’m pleased with how the replacement looks. I’m a big fan of plain colour’s and all black looks cool.

Not a genuine steel series product but works very well. My old one became very baggy and needed replacing. (Arctis 7)
