I am glad I ordered it. I found a couple of sample pages online that I liked, so I went for the book and didn’t regret it. Not the usual boring repetitive tasks.

I love this book. It’s perfect. It’s not too busy and is engaging and age appropriate. My 6 1/2 year old learned to read in kindergarten and this book is exactly what I wanted him to work through for 1st grade language arts. It has fun, age-appropriate activities that are engaging and educational. We homeschool and keep our lessons short so we typically work through 2-3 pages a day and call it good. The activities emphasize his spelling lessons and the phonics he learned in K that we continue to master. Perfect language arts book for kiddos who read well or have just learned to read! I looked and looked for a book like this and am so thankful I found it! The book is thick too and for such a deal! Highly, highly recommend.

My 11-year-old grandson has high functioning autism. Where he struggles most is with reading. Up until now he’s been taking special education classes at the local public school, but with the virus, he will be homeschooled from now on. I wasn’t sure where to start and this book has been great. It’s helped a lot with his reading, helping him to understand and hear the sounds. I’m not sure he will ever read well, but these workbooks will be an asset in helping to read at least some. My goal is to get him reading at least on a second grade level. These books will aid greatly reaching that goal.

My kindergartner love this book😃. She was a little hesitant at first because it was a new book but she quickly changed her mind.I use this book plus Spectrum Phonics grade 1, and 180 Days of Reading grade K then grade 1. My daughter does two pages perDay in this book and spectrum.

Great book. I got them all for end-of-year gifts to the kids I tutor in reading, best I've seen. In fact, had to send back a couple others and re-order these for everyone because they are so complete, so engaging and colorful. Lots of games to make it fun. The only thing I'm not sure about is that the directions for the exercises are really written in big words. If a kid can't figure out the exercise on their own, they need adult help to explain the point.
