RothcoGeneration III Level 3 ECWCS Fleece Jacket

I got this for my son, who is in Civil Air Patrol. He needed something warm for a spring encampment, but not as warm as a heavy coat. He hasn't worn this yet, but he did wash it. It washed well, no fuzzies coming off of it. It is super soft too. I think he will like wearing it. The price here is much more affordable than buying off Vanguard.

Ive bought off brand versions of my fleece jacket before and they all shrunk. This one maintained true to size. Extremely comfortable, and warm. I highly recommend.

Fits great and has the same warmth as the military issued ones. Just received my military one, the color is a little differentThe military OCP fleece is more olive green looking. This one is a coyote brown. I wore this one to Greenland in Aug 2020 and in the C130 and it kept me warm. I’m5’3” and the small fit great. Nice and roomy.

I bought a XXL because I'm 6'2" and have 50" chest. Little baggy on me. Length is good. Sleeves cover my arms down to my wrists and main body goes slightly past my waist line. Material is a bit thin, but keeps me warm and it is soft. One complaint is some of the stitching is not the best. Had to redo some of the stitching on the Velcro patches, as they started coming off when I removed my patches. Was only single stitched and poorly finished. Other is the pockets suck. Not very deep, stuff will fall out. Updating to add sheds a lot. Not sure how to stop that. Leaves black fuzz all over the place.

this fleece is very warm and lightweight. great to wear on a chilly night

Nothing to dislike about this item. Ordered a large for a teenager who wears a medium, but he planned to wear it over bulky sweatshirts on cold spring days. Great buy!

Ok coat, but the fabric hairs come off on things. It literally sheds on seatbelts. Color is within regs but noticeable off. At least in the AF, you really stand out because of the unusually brown color.

Arrived on time and looks just like the CAP coat from vanguard and less expensive
