Very poor quality. Within 2 months the Metal spiral casing just dropped out, leaving inside rubber pipe tangling. Not used much as was installed in the guest wash area. I can share the picture too.

Yes it is explosion proof!
I had a problem of bursting shattaf hoses due to higher water pressure. This one is working well surprisingly! I have attached this hose to a Grohe head. The longer than standard hose length at 1.5m is also useful.
