I used this on my lever espresso machine inside the piston and it works perfectly. The piston moves up and down smoothly, and the sealant doesn't impart any kind of taste into the coffee. I routinely clean and lube my machine every 3 months and this is a must-have when doing regular maintenance. You only need a small amount of this to be effective, so a tube should last many years. Highly recommended if you have a lever espresso machine where you need a food-safe lubricant that can withstand high heat.

Worked great on my ECM Synchronika. For my machine, this is how I applied. 1. set brew lever at midway point between on and off 2. unscrew the screw at the end of brew lever and be careful with lock washer that is hiding inside 3. unscrew the outer piece that sits around the cam making sure to work on the nut closest to brew group head 4. pull out the cam, lube with molykote 111 taking care in particular with the wear points. 5) This is where my machine differed with what I saw online. The videos I saw were able to put the cam right back in but I could not get the cam in the original position it was in. So: unscrew lower portion of brew group head and let it drop all the way down 5. insert cam into position 6. push up from bottom of lower group piece and screw back in making sure cam stays in position 7. lube the entire cam arm with a tiny bit of molykote
