ABUS82/63 Monoblock Brass Padlock Keyed Different

Liked these but were too small

Unfortunately, this particular lock does not fit my container (rookie mistake - I didn't look close enough). But, I'll hang on to it as there are other uses for it. This thing is tougher than nails!

If you have beefy cables they may not fit in lock. I had to melt some of the protective covering away to insert both loop ends into lock. It worked this will be a good product for limited time away from bike.

Nice lock but the opening would not do for my ise

Had to enlarge hitch hole slightly but the lock fits nicely and would require major effort to break, cannot judge the actual security level without destroying the lock. Looks and is way more secure then the open shackle lock, also picking this lock is a job for a professional.

Nice locks. I like that the shaft ejects open with a key and push-click closed. I initially intended to use these with my rifle case (Pelican Storm iM3100) but they didn't fit quite right. So now they are re-purposed along with a thick bike cable (Kryptoflex) to secure the case in my vehicle. Hopefully the sight of that combination is enough to be a deterrent.

Nice solid feel, with spring loaded shackle that pops-out and is "retained" in the fully-opened position when the key is turned. The shackle is a full 10mm, over 3/8 inch thick.With the shackle popped out into a fully-opened position, it is especially helpful when fiddling with chain links, and makes for an easy one-handed close.With the shackle "shrouded" by the chain links or whatever locking plate you are using, the shackle seems protected from cutters, although it's only as strong as the chain you use.

Good lock but small shackle. Its definitely heavy duty. Had a few people ask me where i purchased it. Just make sure it fits your lock because the shackle is very small

This lock looks the part, but its an easy pick. Use this on things that can be replaced, but that you would rather not need to replace. If someone wants it, they can beat this lock far too easily. I wouldn't buy it again personally

The lock is a solid lock, and in the right use it would be fantastic. However, in my application it's not workable. I'm using the lock in a security shroud on a sea can. The key hole faces down toward the opening of the shroud, but the locking bolt when unlocked extends opposite to the key upwards into the shroud. Making it next to impossible to get your fingers onto the bolt to lock it. I've ordered a different lock where the bolt extends out the bottom where the key way is.

I like everything about the lock other than they are too small for the application they were purchased for.

Seems a decent lock, but the bolt was too big for the hole in my gate latch. Measure carefully!
