Cooks Standard Rocks!
I was on the market for a set of knifes with block. Cooking is my passion. I love to have super tools even tho I am just an ordinary housewife. Since I have to live in my means, I did my research on different sets with different prices range and go through the reviews (love Amazon customer reviews). I finally decided to give this set a try for two reasons. One, the price is only 1/3 of the expensive ones, two, I trust Cooks Standard products’ quality. I’ve owned a set of Cooks Standard stainless-steel cookware for years, they are still shining in my kitchen.When I received the order, the packaging looks just the ordinary usual but I noticed the quality of the knife set and block immediately. They are very good and good enough for an “amateur” cook. I have tried every single piece of the knife. They are very sharp and comfortable for my hand. The various blade types make easy work of most any chore. The block is well made. I love the extra placements for scissor and other knifes I own. It looks great on my kitchen counter top. I definitely would recommend it for family use.

Nice knife set and block.
I have been very happy with this purchase. I bought the knife set about 7 months ago and use at least one knife almost daily. I think the whole things looks nice and doesn't take up too much space. I didn't want any steak knives, so was happy to find a knife block set without those. I did want a slot to store scissors, and this has that (had to provide my own scissors, but that's fine). I have been very happy with the quality of the knives thus far. I can't speak for how well they hold up over time, but they seem well made, are easy to handle, very sharp, no issues. Overall, I am very pleased with this set and am glad I bought it.

Sharp out of the box.
Decent knives for the money. They were sharp out of the box but dull quickly with use. I like how they feel in my hand.
