This was a gift for my niece for Christmas. She will be 2 in a couple of months. She seemed to only like putting in the peanuts without the sound on, so she won't be learning anything but hand/eye coordination. The sound seems to be at a decent level, but maybe it scares her? I am not so sure. Anyway, it is a cute little toy maybe for someone a little older, but there only seems to be a small frame for that.

My daughter loves cows and really likes it. My only issue is it will say the wrong color or “flavor” of milk when she puts a milk bottle in it. So it really doesn’t help with colors and will most likely confuse her. She already knows her colors, but for a kid learning their colors this will just confuse them. Which the point of it is to help learn colors.

I purchased this for my one year old Granddaughter. Within minutes of opening the toy, my 3 year old Granddaughter got the orange piece jammed in the opening by trying to push it into the opening the wrong way. It took a pair of pliers and a screwdriver to dislodge it, and it also broke the piece that gives positive feedback when you do it right. I would not recommend for any age. I’m sorry that I didn’t return it for a refund!

The peanut was put in the other way and it got stuck. I had to return it because I was unable to remove it.

I got this for my son because he is obbessed with cows and right now he's trying to learn how to say his colors. It's now his new favorite toy. He even takes it to bed with him. But the reason i love this toy so much is because the cow at some point says "Mmmmmm, that was tasty!" And now my son, who is just now learning how to talk, says "Tasty!!" just like the cow says it and it's the cutest little thing i ever seen. So yeah we love this toy.
