Too small, it is an aid for the oem cooler only
Too small, too big, too cool, too warm... this is what I have read from buyers here, and all are wrong! How do anybody know the temperature of your hydraulic fluid? Did you installed a thermometer??? Or are you using an OBD2 scanner and your vehicle can read it and show it to you on your smart phone or ipod touch??107 deg Celsius, or 225 deg Fahrenheit, is the maximum hydraulic fluid temperature before it will start to degrade. So anything shorter than that is BETTER, to say it quietly lol.But what about "working temperature"??? My JDM AWD transmission requires a working temperature of around 75 deg Celsius, 167 deg Fahrenheit, anything lower and the gears wont change... easily. So are you guys sure your HF temperature is that high to be concerned with??? Mine is, with the AWD and climbing 3000 ft between work and home... at 100+ (115) deg Fahrenheit... I get 110 deg Celsius, 230 F., during the summer.I am sure those pulling trailers in Texas or Arizona will reach similar to higher temperatures. But what about the winter??? With bigger cooling capabilities that means the transmissions will fail because the viscosity will never break...So in other words this cooler will remove a bit of heat from the transmission fluid, perhaps a 5%???? But it wont create issues in winter...I recommend this cooler for SUV's and some cars... but I think a bigger one, a lot bigger, is necessary for big trucks pulling big trailers... it's just logic. And change the fluid every 60,000 miles... unless you drive a Toyota... they fail too, but one can't change it that easily

Pretty decent will update
It was fairly easy to install except for the hose needs to be stressed out with it something before it will fit on the nipple also I didn't like this zip ties that they gave us to use to fasten those because they're a little sick and it's hard to fit through the condenser and I don't want to ruin $100 condenser over at tranny cooler keep in mind that this part if it messes up it's going to destroy our f****** transmission but I really needed it because the OEM tranny cooler that comes with my car is an economy size 1 and straight trash

Great kit for a Jeep
This was pretty easy to mount to my 2010 Jeep JKU Wrangler. It came with brackets and the zip ties. I used the brackets. I did have to use more 3/8" tubing. I also used Barb connections and simply cut the rubber tube area of the return line for the transmission coolant.Looking at it, I could have completely removed the four inch rubber tube on that portion and pushed the 3/8" line directly on to the aluminum coolant lines.Overall, this is a great kit and is the right size for a Jeep Wrangler.

keeps my jeep wrangler from trans overheating
i have a 2007 jeep wrangler with 1 ton axles and 40" tires. without a trans cooler, during summer crawling the trans would overheat and flash on the dash. forcing to shut off and cooldown. haven't had that issue using this cooler.
