Do the pieces fit inside the back of the potato head?

It's been a while since I bought this for my daughter but as I recall, all the pieces do NOT fit inside. Some of the small ones do but I don't think the hat arms do. I got a little bag for my daughter to keep it all in. It seems like the potato body is smaller than I remember as a child. It's still a cute toy though.
