Very cute toy, pieces broke after a few uses
This is such a cute and fun toy. My kids really enjoyed decorating it. The only thing is that the pieces that go into the cake snapped off only after a few uses. After playing with it for only a day, a little less than half the pieces can no longer be inserted into the cake (candles broke fairly easy).

Good value for the price. Put stickers on ahead of time
Kids (3 and 4) love it. You have to put all stickers on (candles and cake slices), so if you are gifting, you may want to open and do that before you give to a kid. Overall fun toy to play with. Kids broke the knife in 2 days. We are using plastic knives from to-go packs provided by restaurants. A few candle sticks broke (little inserts are pretty thin). Nice that it comes with a pouch to put parts back in, but we still lost a few pieces as they are pretty small. I wish it came with few extra pieces so kids could try different combinations and have spares. Overall good value for the money. Definitely not for small kids (choking hazard). My daughter loved it so much she ignored the rest of her Christmas presents and was not expensive

Spoiled granddaughter!
My granddaughter saw this item on a video she was watching and said “Cissy I have to have this.” Of course, I ordered it the next day and have not regretted it since. She plays with it every day.

Cute little birthday cake for tea parties
I got this for my 3 yr. Granddaughter who loved putting anything squarish and small on a plate and bringing to you as your birthday cake. It was for her birthday so it was perfect, now she has 'real' birthday cake that she can have at her tea parties. There are a lot of little pieces so I'd watch the little ones around it but overall very cute.

and has a super cheap look & feel to it
Much smaller than I expected for the price, and has a super cheap look & feel to it. It's definitely cute and my daughter loves it, but I am sure the adhesive on the velcro will not last long. Pieces are VERY small and present a choking hazard. I personally thing 3 is a little young for this (due to the small parts) UNLESS it is used under CLOSE adult supervision.
