The Velveteen Rabbit Gift Set: Or How Toys Become Real Novelty Book – Picture Book, January 14, 2014

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!! THE Velveteen Rabbit was my favorite book as a child and I wanted to share it with my four year old niece. This set is perfect because it not only includes a wonderful hard cover copy of the book itself but it also comes in a cute set with a small stuffed rabbit that the child can hold while reading the story. I can't wait to visit her and read it to her myself but in the meantime she seems to be loving it.

My favorite childhood story. I gave it to my little niece, and her Mom says that she has read the story to her so many times that she has memorized it by heart. She sleeps with the little toy rabbit, as there is a great story that goes along with it. Such a touching story for animal lovers.

This has been one of my favorite children's stories for years (along with The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein). I bought this edition for my great niece, who's only 4 months old, & obviously too young for the book right now. But, she immediately fell in love with the bunny & has been napping with it daily. Hopefully by the time she's old enough to understand the story, the rabbit will be well worn from love.

This is my favorite children's story so I buy a copy for each child born in my family. I have several different versions but this one was especially nice given the plush toy inside and the quality of the book itself. Many thanks!

We watched a Hallmark movie with our family and in that movie was a sequence about the Velveteen Rabbit. We liked it and ordered the gift set immediately from Amazon. The Rabbit that came with the set now occupies a place on the table between our chairs and the story has been read multiple times. Great purchase!!Respectfully,Warren

We bought another one of these, after receiving the first. The first one was asked for by an unknown, needy child for Christmas. After seeing it, we thought it would be perfect for our grandchild. So, in fact, the charity was actually returned to us.

Great gift for new parents. This is a timeless story, and should be read to every child in every country, every year before Christmas. I even used it in my seventh grade class, and the children loved it and the illustrations are fantastic.

I loved giving this gift to my niece. It's beautifully illustrated and a good children's story. My brother (niece's dad) liked it so much he asked me to inscribe a note in it from auntie for Christmas, making it even more special.

Bought this gift for my 3 year old grand daughter's birthday. She lives in Hong Kong and my son there wanted her toenjoy this story as he did at her age. It also comes with a stuffed rabbit which apparently she fell in love with. The artwork inthe book is magical so I can thoroughly recommend it.

This is a LOVELY book with gorgeous illustrations and such a heartwarming story. The Velveteen Rabbit that comes with the kit is a good quality item, perfect for use as an Easter ornament!!! I can believe he's real!!!
