I am really happy with this poster! It is so nice quality-wise, and one of the best parts is that when you scratch off a movie, it comes out looking so clean, no messy residue or damaged images underneath. I really like this, and I've been having fun going through these movies with my son (the age appropriate ones anyways). Before scratching them off, the designs are really cool, and once you scratch it off, the art underneath looks even better. But! I am taking off a star because it's difficult to scratch off, especially the black areas, and if you push too hard, it makes holes in the art underneath. They do warn you, but still, it's difficult to push the right amount to scratch it off without messing it up. The first 1-2 movies I scratched off I kind of botched before I got the hang of it. You can see in my picture - The Fellowship of the Ring in the top right has a bunch of holes, as I didn't even realize I was doing it. The Two Towers only has a couple, as I was starting to figure it out. After that, the rest I haven't had trouble with once I got used to it. It just takes time to do it carefully. My tip - use an old credit card, and scratch lightly but quickly. It'll come off eventually and it's better to go fast and light than to push too hard and risk messing it up. Still, despite this, I definitely recommend this poster, as it's a fun activity, and isn't too expensive.

We wanted to mix up our regular viewing habits, so I ordered this poster to surprise my boyfriend. Now, it's a regular thing for us to pick a movie from the poster and watch it together before scratching it off. It's been a fun way to experience some of the greatest films of all time as a couple - and it's really the gift that just keeps on giving! When you scratch off the gold film after watching a movie, it reveals a colorful icon representative of the movie. I do wish there was a QR code or something included that would link you to the actual IMDB list for additional information, but it's easy enough to pull that up on your own. Note: We did purchase separately a poster hanger, so we could have this conveniently hung in our television room. Definitely recommend doing this, because it's cool to look back at and it's a really great conversation piece!
