I bought this book because I really liked Prisoner's of Geography. This book is book is the engaging and informative equivalent that I was hoping for. I hope the author will write about his ventures in the Middle East!

Rambles, gives insignificant details and reads like a journal entry. Although the conflict in former Yugoslavia was very complex, his explanations were too simplistic. His most recent book is far superior, and frankly better written. Sorry
