Q: The first description states that it runs on 2 standard AA batteries but in the last description says it has to have 2 lithium ion....Which one?

We use two Duracell AA batteries in ours and it works great. Hope this helps.

It looks like real wood. Not sure if it is or not. It is a beautiful piece. Not sure if made in China, but not cheap looking and the batteries seem to last longer than in my last clock. I'm VERY pleased with it.

It has a dial in the back for adjusting the time.. and the chimes.. it’s located in the back where you put the batteries
