Q: Is the 2-in-1 helmet liner with face mask 2 pieces or one connected like a balaclava?

I didn't buy the one with the facemask. Just the helmet liner. Good question, though.

Q: Will this fit on a large 7 1/2" head?

This one fits well on my 7 3/4 head, but be sure to get the one with the longer sides that cover your ears. The regular one doesn't fit as well, I have to continually pull it down or it will work itself off.

Q: what is the weight of this hat?

I don't know the actual weight in ounces, but it is negligible. It is very light, extremely comfortable and, very warm. No problem fitting inside my helmet.
