Super dope!
I give this kite 5 stars.my buddy and his girlfriend came over and they saw the package. he was like "what did you get in your amazon box?"I was like "rude, maybe it is a personal hygiene product!" but i opened it anyway. It may have been a personal hygiene product but I was tired and didn't care. So, to alleviate the suspense it was a kite. My friend was pissed! His girlfriend was there and she is really into art and Phish and doing things that "kite people" like to do and she has wanted a kite for months! She was all like "Chris got a kite! i told you kites were cool" he was like "kites are for kids! i dont want to spend my saturdays in the park playing with toys!"There are a couple of morals to this story. NUMBER ONE, chicks love kites and this one is a pretty good one. NUMBER TWO, i left this kite in my side yard and some other 'kite lover' took it, so even people that like free kites like this kite! NUMBER THREE. i couldn't bear to tell my daughter that a rotten thief took her kite and i loved this one so much that i bought another one.like my list of story morals, great things come in threes. I hope that another thief doesn't steel my second kite so i dont have to make another story of great things that come in threes. I would rather lose it in a tree and have another story to tell.

... years and can tell you this one is a great kite for a reasonable price
I have been flying kites for 50 years and can tell you this one is a great kite for a reasonable price.WHY?1. It's attractive, very colorful up in the sky.2. It has a very adequate tail to prevent "nose diving" to the ground. Flew if for hours and never any dive bond tendency.3. The poles that you assemble to hold it in shape, are not what I would call "heavy duty" but the seem strong enough, better than many.4. Assembly the first time was a little confusing at first, but not after I found the one pole that I had dropped in the sand and re-read instructions.5. The handle and 200' of string are very adequate and works well.6. The little streamers on each side (x2) are a bonus and a cute addition.7. It ships in a clear narrow plastic bag that is EXCELLENT for repacking the kite, string and 4 posts after use; ez to repack it in bag.8. The manufacturer has excellent customer service. [The did for me, when I had a shipping/delivery problem which was NOT their fault … and they still stepped right in ready to do whatever to help me solve the problem which was NOT their fault .. and many posts of people with similar good experience with them on Amazon reviews]9. This is NOT like a dollar store kite that you will soon be throwing away, if you get one or a few uses before it tears up.I got it for my 4 year old grandson and with due care expect it will last years … making it relatively inexpensive and worth the price.10. It looks exactly like the photo shown with it … colorful and nice looking kite.

We took it for a spin
My 5 yr old son and I took this kite out for a run. Wind speed on the ground was not much but we did have some gusts, and were in an open field. Once the kite got above around 20 to 25 feet it began to soar. We had it up to 120 feet and it was wonderful to watch. At that height it took a bit of strength to hold on (read: adult holding the handle). Never sailed a kite that high before and would've gone higher but needed to reel it back in (I didn't realize how much effort was required in doing so!)Terrific kite and great design.
