Seven Pillars of Wisdom

If you are researching the life and times of T.E. Lawrence this book is a must. A truly astonishing man whose potential was wasted at Versailles in 1919 when his ideas for Arab nationhood were not listened to by either the French or British governments, both of whom had different colonial and imperialistic ambitions.

A very good riveting story . Due to its scope it is quite a tome ,I therefore am still reading it . Because of its length it has obviously been confined to one large paperback and the print size is a little small . Nevertheless it rewards the effort .

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He seems pleased with it as he has a lot of interest in WW1. Just be aware that this is a big book - hardly a paperback to read on the train.
