non sono solito lasciare recensioni ma in questo caso è doveroso spendere più parole di quante probabilmente ne meriterebbe una semplice ventola ma spero questa recensione possa essere utiile a qualcuno perchè a me tra un inutile "che rumoreeee" e un altrettanto inutile "ventola silenziosissima al 20% della potenza ( LOL ) e qualità superrrr" mi sarebbe davvero tornata utile.innanzitutto la recensione in questione riguarda il modello Corsair ML140 versione PRO ( e questo è un fattore FONDAMENTALE ), prima di tutto vorrei che la casa costruttrice mi spiegasse per quale motivo questa ventola costa 22 euro al pezzo perchè io dopo aver avuto tra le mani almeno almeno una ventina di ventole diverse ( e di diversi brannd ) non sono davvero riuscito a capirlo, detto ciò provo a stilare una piccola liista di PRO e di contro:PRO:- la ventola si presenta comunque solida, pesante e ben costruita- è uno dei pochissimi modelli con le pale nere che oggi si possono trovare sul mercato, carina anche la possibilità di cambiare gli angoli in diversi colori ( ammesso li troviate in vendita cosa che io non sono riuscito a fare e sempre ammesso siate disposti ad aggiungere altri soldi arrivando con tutta probabilità a una cifra intornno ai 30+ euro al pezzo ) ma anche di fabbrica risultano comunque esteticamente ben più piacevoli delle classice ventole medie- i fili sono della giusta lunghezza, nonostante abbia un case enorme ( nel mio caso un cooler master mastercase maker 5 ) ci sono arrivati senza problemi al contrario delle vecchie tant`è che mi ero già premurato di comparre delle prolunghe rimaste poi inutilizzateCONTRO:-nonostante la descrizione riporti un alimentazione a 3 pin in realtà sono ventola a 4 pin, non un difetto di per sè ma se fornite delle specifiche sarebbe il caso di farlo nel modo corretto- la plastica non è PER NULLA uniforme ( e lo si può vedere anche dalle immagini ), in diversi punti si presentanno degli aloni quasi "scoloriti" e su 4 ventole in tutte e 4 nello stesso modo quindi non è certo un problema isolato, sono proprio così e per 22 euro è imbarazzante, roba che manco i cinesi ( non che queste non siano prodotti cinesi eh ma ci siamo capiti )- avendo gli angoli "pieni" se avete necessità d iinstallarle al mm ( nel mio caso erano 3 frontali ) risulta impossibile far girare il filo intorno alla ventola come si fà solitamente per accorciarlo/allungarlo, non avendo scanalature non vi è modo di evitare che il cavo faccia spessore quindi vanno installate tenendo conto anche di questoNEUTRO:- le ventole non sono rumorose come si legge ma non sono nemmeno silenziose ( ma proprio per nulla ) come millantano certi utenti, chiaramente parliamo di ventole da 140mm ( nel mio caso 4 + altre 2 da 120mm ) quindi è sciocco pensare possano non essere rumorose ma anche al 50% il suono prodotto non è per nulla indifferente, se puntate alla massima silenziosità non è questo il modello che fà per voi ( e probabilmente neanche il marchio ), abbastanza fastidioso anche il ronzio che producono ma niente che non si trovi in quasi ogni prodotto simile- scordatevi di poter utilizzare dei semplic attacchi a 3 pin ( a meno di non avere un "controller" che limita il voltaggio ) e di farle quindi andare alla massima velocità perchè il rumore in quel caso è incredibile ( così come l`aria che muovono ma ovviamente diventa anche impossibille da sopportare )concludo ripetendo che questa recensione riguarda il modello Corsair ML140 PRO, probabilmente ( anzi quasi certamente ) se stessi recensendo le medesime ventole in versione "base" da 22 euro LA COPPIA sarei stato meno schizzinoso e/o severo ( ma le plastiche alonate sarebbero comunque intolllerabili ), in sostanza le consiglio? se cercate delle ventole NERE ed esteticamente "massicce" e piacevoli ( ma sopratutto se siete dispsosti a spenderci questa cifra ) direi di si, ovviamente per me l`estetica era un fattore fondamentale ma se non vi frega niente lasciate pure perdere e prendete la versione base che costa la metà, come utilizzo sarei pronto a scommettere che risulltano identiche, Corsair si conferma un`ottima marca ( vedremo sulla durata ma fin`ora non mi ha mai deluso ) ma a fronte della cura riposta il prezzo è oggettivamente troppo, troppo alto, assurda anche questa moda dei vari led carnevaleschi ovunque manco fossimo alle giostre di inizi anni 2000, nullla in contrario eh ma che non si riescano più a trovare "semplici" ventole nere di un certo livello per determinate buiild è imbarazzante.per me allo stato attuale il voto più giusto sono 3,5 stelle ma avessero avuto delle plastiche uniformi e di una qualità congrua al prezzo gli avrei dato tranquillamente anche 4 stelle ma così è davvero fuori discussione, ne metto 3 solo perchè Amazon non permette di dare 0,5 ma come detto sarebbe un 3,5.

Would recommend phanteks t30 instead for rad fans. Im now using those and they are much quiter and have better cfm.

ML120 PRO and ML140 PROVery high quality fans. I have bought about 15 of these now. Their main strength is the exceptional range of speeds they will run at. The 120mm runs 400-2400 RPM. The 140mm runs 400-2000 RPM. They generate very high pressure levels so are perfect for coolers and radiators but can also be used as case fans. The fans are solid and heavy. They inspire confidence with the obvious quality of build. They are supplied with four black screws.These are very quiet fans. However, they can turn at very high RPM so the “woosh of air” can be significant. They are pretty much silent up to about 1100-1200 RPM, but beyond that you can hear the air moving. At 2000-2400 RPM the amount of air moving is loud. Most people will not want that level of RPM. What I do is control them up to around 1000/1200 RPM for normal cooling then ramp them up to higher levels for emergency cooling only. There is no bearing noise at all. No clicking. Nothing. Just air!At 50% these are developing twice the pressure that a Scythe Mugen cooler fan does at full speed. Comparing to Noctua, they have a very similar performance in both noise and pressure, but offer higher RPM so more flexibility. Don't listen to the nay-sayers who are just running them flat out and expecting them to be silent. Having said that, you do need to take control of the fans to ensure you get the right cooling to noise balance. Most BIOS' these days allow you to control the speed or applications like iCEU.Because of the high RPM and high pressure these are better suited to use as a replacement fan on a heatsink or AIO. In fact these are the fans provided as standard on Corsair top of the range water coolers. I use them for everything, including case fans ( These are four pin fans not three pin so you need to check your headers. ).Please note that the Dual Pack of fans are the standard ML fans not the ML PRO.They are a bit expensive, yes, but they are very good.

Was looking for a 140mm exhaust fan for my PC but didn't want another RGB fan like the ones on the AIO and intakes.Finally found new old stock of one of these. Price paid was a steal considering it's over 50% off its MSRP when they were released several years back (before RGB was even a thing).Runs well though it's quite noisy at full speed due to the wind noise, probably owing to the design of the blades as both my Corsair QL140 intake fans don't make that kind of noise even at full speed.

Wer sich hier einen ML140 bestellt muss unbedingt darauf achten, welche Ausführung er angeklickt hat:ML140 PRO RGB LED => 400-1200 rpmML140 PRO => 400-2000 rpmML140 => 400-2000 rpmIn in allen drei Ausführungen handelt es sich um die Premium-Serie von Corsair mit Magnetschwebelagern. Diese versprechen eine lange Lebensdauer bei gleichzeitig reduzierter Lautstärke. Der einzige relevante (und mir bekannte) Unterschied zwischen der PRO- und Nicht-PRO-Version ist bei letzterer das Fehlen der Vibrationsdämpfer und die Farbe der Rotorblätter. Ob das den heftigen Mehrpreis rechtfertigt muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden.Ich bewerte hier die Version "Corsair ML140 Pro PC-Gehäuselüfter (140 mm, mit Premium Magnetschwebetechnik, Single Pack), Schwarz".Ich setze zwei dieser Lüfter im Push-Betrieb auf dem Radiator eines Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 ein. Sie drücken die Luft im Gehäuse durch den Radiator nach außen. Durch den hohen statischen Druck und die - bei Bedarf - enorm hohe Drehzahl ist der ML140 PRO extrem vielseitig einsetzbar. Im Normalbetrieb zwischen 500 - 800 rpm höre ich sie so gut wie gar nicht. Bis ca. 1200 rpm stören sie auch noch nicht. Ab 1500 rpm wird es dann heftiger. Es ist aber wirklich nur das Luftgeräusch zu hören - kein Rattern, Kratzen, Brummen etc.Die Verarbeitung ist auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Dass die Kabel nicht gesleeved sind stört zwar ein wenig die Optik, aber dafür sind die Kabel dünner und flexibler - was sie einfacher zu verlegen macht. Immerhin sind sie schön lang.Ich habe in meinem System insgesamt:3 x ML120 PRO RGB (Front)2 x ML140 PRO RGB (Boden und Heck)2 x ML140 PRO (Radiator oben)Trotz dieser insgesamt sieben Lüfter ist mein System im Normalbetrieb kaum hörbar, was für die Qualität der Corsair-Lüfter spricht.Trotz des heftigen Preises kann ich eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung aussprechen.
