I lost my tiny little chain in the shower. But I found the little diamond heart shape pendant on the floor. I did not notice it until two days later. I rushed to Walmart and I got two snakes devices not luck. I lost a bamboo stick in the drain trying to reach the floor of the drain. Oh no! I was so sad, I looked on Amazon all night for a device with claws. I received the next day. I was able to unscrew the top of the drain, I pulled the bamboo stick. It was tricky... Then, I reached down on the first tried and I pulled the chain. What a luck! I have to have a little happy dance. Thank you Amazon Prime ! You are awesome

You have to pull the drain plug out to use it. It's too thick to use with plug in. It has a nice grabber at the end. It's not bad.

The only bad part is that with use it gets very hard to open and close - often when I fully open it it’s impossible to get it closed without yanking it out and pushing it closed manually, which defeats the purpose.

I had a slow draining tub, so thought I would give this a try. I picked this unit as it has a plastic coating around the wire and I felt it would make cleaning after use easier. Seems to be a good choice. I ended up with a LOT of hair and gunk being removed! Worked well. Easy clean up!

I did not find this useful. Diffucult to coordinate the claw mechanism while trying to scrape the drain out. Do yourself a favor and google “How to clean out sink trap”. It will be much more useful to you than this device.
