Will this work if somebody with a key unlocks it? I have a nosy landlord who keeps snooping around...

you have to be in the house it will not work if you wanna go out and lock up your apartment. if you are in the house and put on the lock whoever is trying to get in with a key on the outside cannot get in. i have a nosy landlord as well get the camera from amazon that looks like a air freshner the camera is very clear when you go to review your pics

Hi, I am reading that this doesn't work well on hotel room doors? Has anyone used this for hotel doors in India? Also is it easy to fit?! Thanks!

I travel frequently and purchased this Addalock for just the hotel room doors. I have found it fits all hotel rooms doors that I’ve stayed in. Again I travel on business and find it works as described and makes me feel certain no one, short of busting down the actual door, can get in. It’s also very quick to open so no worries if I have to get out in an emergency.

Will this product work on typical bedroom doors?

i barely got it to work on my traditional ball and pushin button front door. lf you try it, keep the packaging you bought it in and be prepared to send it back if it doesn't work. l am doubtful.

My toddler can easily open the front door at grandma's house to get outside. Will this prevent him from being able to open the front door to get out?

I do not have this lock but I have a grandson with autism. His aunt is a locksmith and she came over & installed some locks at the top of my exterior doors that act as an extra deadbolt & have a pinch & pull system to open them that adults cannot always figure out. They serve two purposes. Extra security for me & also a way to prevent children from opening the door.
