Amazing! Best ever! Like a natural deodorant that works as good as secret! I used it for the first time yesterday, I got the woodlands one, clean smell not too overpowering but a nice fragrance! NO IRRITATION AT ALL .. and I just shaved my underarms and I always cut myself. It didn't hurt. It also works better than Tom's, it's smooth going on, and not WET, IT HAS INCREDIBLE odor and wetness ability, it's hard to believe it's not a antiperspirant! I'm going to order all fragrances! I looked at like 20+ natural deodorants, I didn't want baking soda , I did want arrowroot powder for wetness, I did want magnesium to make a alkaline environment on my skin, I didn't want synthetic fragrance either. This checks all my boxes! I believe this is the best deodorant brand. I was thinking about trying NATIVE, but I went into cvs and smelled them all and they are sickeningly sweet. And no wetness absorbing abilities like this one. I'm eating , my research paid off! I'm also a hypersensitive person and , also this worked for 24 hours on me. I'm a middle ground person when it comes to odor, I'm not super stinky as I eat more high fat carnivore diet, NO sugar or wheat, grain. Diet links to odor) but this worked like magic. Usually by the next morning after sleeping and sweating I can smell a underarm odor. Nothing with this one! Highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised by this! I am always very Leary about ordering any cosmetics or deodorant or items like this off of Amazon, but I saw an ad for this brand and gave it a shot and I absolutely love it! It smells amazing, it seems to last all day and is a great value for the price. I have an allergy to baking soda in deodorants so I was super excited to find a brand that actually is baking soda free, easy to apply, and no skin irritation! I'm actually debating which scent to try next!

Bought this for my brother and he said it smelled great. It spreads well under the arm too. No bad ingredients which is also a big plus. I use the jasmine scent and also like it. Scent is suttle, I do not smell it once on. It also works great to keep odors away.

Update February & June 2025: The Pretty Frank deodorant has continued to be my favorite natural deodorant and in the 1.5 years of using it, I haven't had any negative reaction to it! Best deodorant I've found. I came back to order moren but now all scents are "currently unavailable." ** The founder has embarked on a new deodorant product called Purefill. Environmentally friendly, new scents, refillable container. I'm on my first pod of it and find it to be comparable to Pretty Frank.** I love Pretty Frank! Review For the Orange Vanilla (Aug 2023): Smells really good! But product had melted a bit during shipping, so exterior was oily. Also, container shows damage (see pic); not sure what that's about. Product had to have been damaged prior to shipping, as there's no narks on the bubble wrap bag they were in (pack of 2) or on the exterior bubble wrap Amazon package. Despite being a Prime member, shipping took 4 business days, not the promised 2 business days. Shame on Amazon for their continuing lack of upholding their end of agreements for Prime members! P3 seems to be a good company, and in the future I'll order directly from them for their fine products. UPDATE for Woodlands: 24 Aug 2023 This deodorant does work well! We had an unusually hot summer [90F +] and the Pretty Frank "Woodlands" kept me from reaking. The ONLY drawback is how long it takes for Amazon to ship the product: it takes them roughly 2-3 weeks before sending an in stock, Prime shipping order! Because of this long delay, I tried another carefully selected natural deodorant.... Pretty Frank was better by far! It kept body odor away & has a light, pleasant scent (I love the Woodlands, which is now out of stock, even on the official website). Best-- I've had zero negative reaction. Yay! So, despite the long shipping wait, I've ordered more (the Orange Vanilla, because Woodlands is out of stock), because the other brand I tried....eww!I ~~~~~ Update after 1 month+ daily use (June 2023): I am very pleased with this deodorant. No negative reactions & it does help control body odor (underarms), which I recently got a full confirmation on when I missed using it one day. Recommend trying it. ~~~~~ Original Review: The big name of "72 hour odor control" stopped carrying my preferred scent. I'm extremely sensitive to products, even ones that claim to be "natural." I'm a mid-40s obese woman on corticosteroids, which means funky smelling & sometimes quite powerfully malodorous (hormones!). So I didn't have huge expectations for Pretty Frank "Woodlands" scent deodorant. It works okay, given the above statement. I am usually at home (because I'm disabled), but I don't like smelling body odor, not even mine! The Pretty Frank "Woodlands" deodorant is lightly scented (again, I'm extremely sensitive, so this is a key point), with an earthy-spicy scent. It goes on fairly smoothly. I am extremely glad it doesn't have baking soda (which can cause alkaline burns), and it seems to use arrowroot for it's primary ingredient. So far, using it daily for a couple of weeks, I have had no negative reactions to Pretty Frank. The scent doesn't overpower & it does dissipate fairly quickly, which is fine, because the odor control is in the other ingredients. Now that summer weather is here, the true testing of Pretty Frank deodorant will be put into high gear. I have hope that "Woodlands" scent will help me be not repugnant smelling! I like the scent, and it's been a mostly effective deodorant. I'm not the easiest person for a deodorant to get along with. 😄 Happy with it so far.

First of all, I have tried book-oodles of natural deodorants. So many so, that I could log them on a spreadsheet. Through my trials, I discovered that my body reacts negatively to baking soda and arrowroot powder. I get a red, itchy rash under my arms that takes up to a week to clear up. I can use Earthley Wellness deodorants with great success. But, most of the others have not worked. I also use homemade deodorant, which I will likely stick to for the time being. I like to have variety of choices, though, so this is why I have tried so many. I will say, I loved the scent of Pretty Frank lavender deodorant, and the longevity. I could smell the lavender hours after applying. Lavender is my favorite essential oil. The price point was great, too. My experience in no way reflects the effectiveness of the deodorant itself, just my own sensitivities.

We have used this company for deodorant for many years; even when it went by a different name. It is so difficult to find a natural ingredient deodorant that actually works and this one just checks all the boxes for us! Our family uses the baking soda-free options and have never had a problem with it irritating our skin. We did go through a “detox” time when we very first tried it where our old processed deodorants had been clogging our pores for years was exiting; It only lasted three days. It has been a dream deodorant ever since we started using it! I also use their lip balms. It’s so hard to find companies that don’t sell out to bigger companies who change the ingredients. I hope Pretty Frank stays as it is! It’s amazing!

All this is just my subjective opinion of my experience with this product: I have used this product for years but it no longer works as well as it used to and appears to have shrink-flated. I started using this product when it was called Primal Pit Paste. My preferred scent was “Jacked Up Jasmine.” Then, I couldn’t find “Jacked Up Jasmine,” only “Jasmine.” I didn’t like that scent so I switched to “Seaside Charcoal.” Somewhere in there it was rebranded from “Primal Pit Paste” to “Pretty Frank.” A downgrade in branding, but oh well. Then it got more expensive. Unfortunate, but it still worked well. Then it felt like it was lighter than before, so I shined a flashlight through the packaging on a new stick and discovered it was barely over half-full. Since I didn’t inspect it like that before, I can only assume they are giving less product per stick. I’m not happy about that but, if it still works as before, I’ll just chock it up to shrink-flation. Now, for the first time in years my pits have started to stink by the end of the day so I am ready to give up on this once great product. I was willing to begrudgingly tolerate discontinuing my preferred scent, rebranding, price inflation, and shrink-flation. But since the product no longer does the job, what’s the point of buying any more?
