GTSE 8 Inch Brown Zip Ties, 100 Pack, 18lb Strength, UV Resistant Strong Nylon Cable Ties, Self-Locking 8" Tie Wraps

I am putting up a faux ivy border on my fence to deter the dogs on both sides from trying to kill each other several times a day. I can't imagine that the ivy will last very long, however, these zip ties will. Long after the ivy has been destroyed, the green zip ties will be there to remind me of another one of my foolish attempts. They are strong and a beautiful green so they match the obviously fake ivy. Highly recommended if you too are doing a silly project like mine.

We used these zip ties to install a bamboo fence over a chain linked fence. Blended in well with bamboo and were nice and long.

Got them largely because of the color, match the wrought iron fence they're attaching my antenna to.

Selected these zip ties to use with a deck shade cloth project, to have some degree of adjustability over the life of the cloth. UV resistance was important, and these were the right width and strength rating for the project. Stainless steel screw eyes every two feet were used around the perimeter of the existing framework, using zip ties between grommets in the shade cloth and the screw eyes. Shade cloth ordered 3" undersize on all sides to allow for adjustment. The zip ties were easy to work with, and have a release in case of over-tightening.A year in: These ties have worked well for what I used them for, but I question their UV resistance. I've had a few simply break for no reason. They can easily be replaced, since only one or two break at a time, but I was hoping for a more permanent solution.

Ordered March 28th for Easter Weekend delivery. Day of delivery, status changed to Running late. Arrived 19th April. In that time I ordered from a different supplier (took three days), I didn’t cancel as I wanted to leave a review. My advice to suppliers; don’t give false expectations. If the item is not in stock, don’t sell it. If you give a delivery date, don’t change. This is poor customer service as I needed the product for a task over Easter weekend. My money was taken immediately of course.As for the product. I used the other one I ordered. These look quite thin and flimsy. Avoid.

I was taken in by the Blown-up Listing Pic again.The size was there in the listing 200mm X 2.5mm in "larger letters" than the size of these Green Thin Ties themselves.The length is a good all round size.For a computer build these may do the trick if using for some green theme with led's
