2 Pack Combo 1lb Yellow Shea Butter & 1lb Ivory Shea Butter Grade a 100%

Purchased 5 lbs of ivory and 5 lbs of yellow and got a great deal. Normally I get 5 lbs of ivory for around $25, but got all 10 lbs for $35 from this seller. It arrived packaged nicely - 10 1 lb bags, vacuum sealed (not in a plastic bag with a zip tie!) and no leaks (YAY!) I always use unrefined ivory shea butter in my body butter recipe and have never had to strain or adulterate it in anyway - I just melt everything together in a double boiler and have zero problems. Same is true with this product. Super happy with it and it made great body butter!But as a small sidenote....please be aware that if you are super picky about your shea butter...the yellow is NOT shea butter. Unrefined, natural shea butter is some version of beige, grey or ivory (so to the reviewers claiming the ivory is refined...that's not correct). The yellow "shea" butter is not shea at all...it's African butter from the Kpangnan tree in Togo. It's awesome and I use it exactly as I would shea butter. But just know they are two different things before you purchase.

Edit: I'm received 5lb of yellow shea butter on my most recent order, so I'm still missing 5lbs of the Ivory shea butter. I've sent smellgood an email to resolve the situation, and I've attached a picture of what I received here, since I couldn't attach it in the email. Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated, and I'll update my review once resolved! I've been ordering from this company for years and I always get quality organic Shea Butter, no matter what. The amount you get for this price is amazing, and I will keep coming back. These quality butters are perfect for my handmade hair and body butters!

I use a lot of shea butter for making soap. This is a great product at a great price. Smells nutty and fresh, texture is smooth and nonsticky. I have ordered from other suppliers, until I found Smellgood. Love their product. You will need to strain it first, even if it looks clean. Just melt it in your crockpot or double boiler, strain through cheesecloth (they also provide information on this on their website). Worth the (very minimal) effort for the price and quality. They offer several combinations of yellow/ivory in different sizes, so be sure to check out their other offerings if this is not exactly what you want.

I ordered the 10 lb ivory and yellow Shea. The yellow had a bad odor so I contacts the seller. Amazingly, u asked for a replacement of the yellow with ivory and they speedily shipped it to me!!! I will be ordering the ivory from now on...just my preference. This product is awesome. I made some wonderful products and absolutely love Shea butter for my hair 😊!

I made two orders of shea butter, £10 each. With the first order there was a problem due to a shortage of 0.5 pounds.And with the second order - dirt. I was forced to change the filter after every pound of oil.And even despite the filtration, part of the dust suspension remained. I can't use THIS in my makeup...42 dollars for the product and 23 dollars for shipping to my country are simply lost.I will never deal with this seller again!!!

I liked the opportunity of getting both kinds of Shea butter in one order, making it convenient to compare the two. I really love Shea butter and I'm having a hard time deciding on which I like the best because they are both great. I think the cream color has a more subtle scent which is good for adding EO'S but I actually like the earthy smell of them anyway. It was definitely worth the purchase. They came in separate bags but together in one package.

Super fast delivery. Product as described. The product was labeled incorrectly as 8 oz. but actually each bag was 16 oz or little more. Shea butter was a little grainy, so I melted everything and froze it. Now the shea butter is smooth and creamy and it's easier for me to store and measure.
