4 Pack Douwe Egberts Aroma Rood Ground Coffee (8.8oz/250g each)

I was told to try this brand and version of coffee. I decided that it was time to be a coffee drinker. I do use a very small amount of sugar with this, when I do make coffee for myself. There is no bitterness to this kind of coffee. If I add more sugar, it reminds me of coffee candy, that I used to get, as a kid. When I get my little Mr.Coffee Maker started brewing this, the whole kitchen smells like a coffee factory. I am rather happy with this product. I bought 2, because, I couldn't get a good deal on just one. I have one in the freezer, and one in the fridge that I get out to make coffee on the weekends. I would not recommend this to a coffee drinker that just gulps down cup after cup, because this is a coffee to be savored and enjoyed.

I had a cup of these coffee while I was out one day. I liked it so much I asked for the name. I came home and ordered some right away. This is a very smooth coffee. I look forward to having a cup each morning I go into work. I will continue to order this coffee and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a great cup of coffee.

One of my favorites

The reviews I read said that the D-E instant coffee and the Excellent Aroma ground coffee were the closest to the liquid that require an expensive special machine, thus the liquid will only be found in restaurants, where it was the best coffee I had ever tasted. Well, the instant was nothing to brag about, and I tried several way to prepare it to make sure I didn't miss anything. But every cup tasted like instant coffee, with a certain taste that comes from instant coffees. So the instant was a bust. Next, we tried brewing the ground coffee. At best, it was okay to a bit above average, thus 4-stars. I will stick with it for awhile, since it is very expensive compared to the BOGOFs on other brands, which are almost as good, at my local grocer.

I bought it at a Dutch store for Easter 2 years ago in 2013 and loved it. Found a pic of it while going through Easter photos and looked for it online. Am delighted. It is really good coffee Some flavored coffees are weak this one is not. I do use a little more than I would regular coffee.. Just the right amount of chocolate flavor. MOCHA :)

After having a most delicious and aromatic coffee at a country club, I found they use Douwe Egbert. I had to have it and bought the same. Unfortunately, whether it's my equiptment (Keurig) or the coffee I received, it was rather ordinary and nowhere near the aroma or taste that I had experienced. So I rate it as merely "OK".

I really like this coffee. It has a great flavor and a nice kick in the morning to start my day. The only issue I have is the price which makes it a little expensive to drink daily.
