Genuine Mazda (0000-8T-R20) Door Sill Trim Plate

I recently purchased a brand new 2021 CX 5. My only options were the $350+ light up ones from the dealer or searching elsewhere. I was being picky looking for door sill protectors that were metal, simple and sleek. These were not recommended for my year based on the fact there is a slight ridge, not smooth metal, where these are to be applied in the door. They work just fine and cover the areas you want protected. There might be an ever so slight gap depending on how you place them but if that concerns you get some extra double sided tape and make sure you seal it down firmly. I installed mine with no issues and followed the templates that came with it.They look great and have worked well for my 2021 CX-5.

This is old mdse. It works on my Mazda but is no longer made. The tape is old and one front piece did not adhere. I wound up gluing it down.

Perfect fit on our 2016 CX-5. Very nicely finished surface--a combination of highly polished and matte. Looks nice when the doors are open, and provides some protection to the sill.Even though the genuine Mazda sill trim is significantly more expensive that the "aftermarket"/Chinese-made examples, the Mazda trim is more subdued, and more complementary to the interior [in my opinion].The trim is attached with red very-high-bond double-stick adhesive tape--this tape virtually fills the bottom of the trim pieces. I started installation with the rear passenger door sill pieces, to give me some practice, before moving to the larger driver/side-passenger pieces. The packaging includes installation directions and some cardboard templates.One of my trim pieces arrived slightly bent, from shipping. I gently bent it back into shape, and it looks perfect after installation.Very happy with the purchase [and saved money by purchasing online, and installing myself].

I bought these plates to protect the rocker frames from getting scratched up. They come with a template and good instructions for the installation. I bought a rubber roller from Amazon too for the install as the instructions suggested in the tools needed section. It all worked out great and the wife loves the look on her Mazda CX-5.

Very nice quality (Mazda OEM) worked fine on my 2019 CX-5. Yes, there is a raised area on the newer models but there is enough flexibility in the bonding to allow for secure attachment. Looks great!

Unable to use this product since it came with only 3 trim plates instead of 4. They appear to be brand new but the box they came in was already opened.

It matched the car perfectly & easy to install with the templates provided. It's a nice chrome decor when you open the vehicle doors.

I'm glad I purchased the genuine Mazda door sill trim since they were sturdy and the stainless steel looks really good. It was pretty easy to install too with the template that was included. Other aftermarket sill trim sounded cheap from the review I read.

You know it's OEM equipment when there are detailed instructions with templates and measurments to mark the placement of these sill protectors.Laser etched high quality stainless steel with 3M tap backing. Included instructions made installation a snap. Wish these would wrap the sill edges further fully protect the paint. Wouldn't buy this at the dealer but purchasing it via Amazon made the purchase a snap and at a respectable price. Only reason why I didn't give it full marks is for this item's lack of protecting the sill edge. Would definitely purchase from reseller again.

OEM part, fit exactly and everything needed for install was included in the kit. Even included alcohol wipes to degrease the sills. Very happy with the product!
