This bed is exactly what I wanted for my cat! She previously had a white faux fur cat cave from another brand that lost it’s shape and got dingy looking. I love that this one is more structured and still soft bodied. The charcoal color is really nice and won’t get dirty, and overall this pet bed is a lot more stylish and modern than other cat beds on the market. You can tell all the fabrics they use on it are high quality. My kitty loves to make biscuits on the removable cushion :) It’s seriously SO soft, I’d use it as a human blanket if I could haha! She’s a big Norwegian Forest Cat and this bed is plenty big for her. It’s soft bodied, so even for big kitties like mine it will definitely flex and snuggle around them with plenty of room to move around and adjust themselves. I think it’s great for all sizes and all cats, definitely recommended!TIP: If your cat is a bit apprehensive like mine, I recommend removing the cushion and sleeping with it at your feet for a few days. I’ve read that having your scent on new objects helps cats adjust to new things in their environment, and it definitely helped with my skittish girl :)

Our cat is elderly and has always been a "fraidy cat", but I bought this for her in the hopes that she would like it. It took about three months of friendly exposure to the bed before she decided it was OK (I had almost given up), but now she spends most of her time in it. The removable cushion is extremely soft, thick, plush and comfy for her old bones. It is very easy to wash and comes out looking like new. I just toss the cushion in the quick cycle of our washer and it is surprisingly quick to dry in the dryer. Only the cushion is washable (the enclosure/outer part is surface wash only). The floor of the outer part is a thin, fine mesh-like material. I usually spray the outer part with Febreze and hang it out in the sun when the cushion is in the wash. I have washed the cushion three or four times. She is an average sized cat and has plenty of room inside. It gets a lot of use (albeit generally just a cat asleep inside) and has held up very well (no tears / holes). I definitely highly recommend this bed!

This bed is surprisingly well built (it was less expensive than a lot of similar beds and I was worried). It came in just two days, was extremely well packaged, made out of a great material, very sturdy. The frame is all one piece and doesn't come apart like other beds when the dogs play. It can’t be taken apart or eaten by my labrador either so thats a plus. The bed comes with the sturdy frame and also a small cushion for inside which you can easily trade with any other cushion thats a similar size. My chihuahua is 16, she had another fort like bed which my lab tore apart. As soon as I got this she climbed right in along with her 8 yr old chihuahua brother. They absolutely love it!!! If you have an older dog, don’t hesitate to get this (even though I think I will be adding a small memory foam matress considering she is 16). Overall its great!

This is a really nice cat bed that I would love, if I were a cat. It's not too big or too small, it's nice and soft and comfy and warm. The only minor issue I have is my cat snags everything with her claws, including the soft cushion that's placed inside of the "cave" portion. I would suggest to the makers to add some way to fasten the cushion to the rest of the bed so if a cat snags its claw, it won't pull the cushion out of the cave.

So, you'll probably wonder as you read this, why give it so many stars if it's too small? Well, that's my fault, not anything to do with this cave bed. This bed is actually nicely made, stitching looks good, and it seems like it would be really comfy and cozy.But I mistakenly ordered the small one, when I thought I was ordering the large. So, I'll probably return it and order the larger one. I know my girl will like it if she can fit more than her head/shoulders in it, because she's shown interest, but has deemed it too small for her 21+ inch long body.If you have a Chihuahua-sized dog or a kitten, the small would be perfect. It really is nice. I almost wish they made them for humans. :)

I bought this cat house for my mom's new 6-week (maybe a little younger) kitten (named Archie) who took to it after he was introduced. With kittens, you have to show them the litter box, their toys and their bed. I read some reviews before purchasing that said the bed was too small for their 10+ pound cat. That's something someone should have known beforehand from a 15x15 inch (or even 19x19 inch) bed. Archie's just a small kitten though and curls up in a back corner of the bed (it's been left in the teepee position). He was a feral kitten when he was caught (still drinking from a bottle), so my guess is the bed gives him some extra comfort and privacy when he wants it.I haven't written many reviews in all my 12+ years on Amazon and it's because most reviews for the products already tell it all and I have nothing to add. However, I will add this to help those who have worries about the pillow falling apart. It's something obvious and isn't something I haven't seen many (if any people) comment on: buy a pillowcase. I bought a small satin pillowcase that adds extra comfort for Archie in his bunker (you can see the pillowcase in the photo). It doesn't take away any of the softness of the pillow itself. If ever Archie does try to claw out his home in the future, it should also add a little protection for the pillow at least. If you have a kitten or know someone else who does, this product makes a great bed. It's small enough too that my mom puts the cat bed on top of her bed when she sleeps so Archie knows she's nearby and still has his space to rest in.

Well this is my Second Purchase of this Item , for the First one was a War between the Cat and the Dog , so I had to get another one , they seem to enjoy it a Lot .. its like their own little privacy space.. really do recommend to others to purchase this item for either their cat or dog , btw my dogs are small Yorkshire terrier not recommend for larger dogs ..the material is nice and the inside pad is fluffy and comfy . easy clean up if ever gets dirty .. just lovethat my pets actually enjoy it and wasn't a waste of money .

I ordered this for a homeless cat I was feeding so he would have somewhere cozy to sleep on my deck. He was semi-feral so didn't come in my home. This was the perfect safe sleeping space for him. I'm happy to report he was finally trapped (after a year of me taking care of him) and has been rehomed.

Our dog had double ennucleation surgery over a year ago,and still suffers severe anxiety if left alone for even a few minutes alone.Leaving the house isn’t possible without her crying nonstop.I decided to take a chance on this bed,despite her aversion to anything remotely cave like.She’s a rescue,and I have no idea what her last was like,but believe she may have had more than 5 owners previously.So she panicks at being left alone(even before the surgery).I’m so thrilled to find that she LOVES this little bed.We have 8 comfy plush beds scattered throughout the house for her.But she chooses this one,stays in it when we leave the room,and sleeps soundly when she’s in it.It’s well made,with a removable plush pad inside.Honestly,a little overprice for what it is,but worth it for her ability to finally relax.

Oscar loves it. Feels a little cheap but the cushion is very soft. It’s a tad smaller than what I expected but still functional. I couldn’t see a cat laying on top of it as if it worked both ways. The colour matched perfectly and was true to the photos. Good product, not amazing.

I bought two of these for two cats I'm cat-sitting. These cat tents are very well built and the pillow is soft and thick. The tent itself does not fall flat; it stays up. There is no smell. Good quality tents. Unfortunately, the cats are extremely wary of everything in my house, so they go in the tent but don't stay there. The tents will go home with them where I'm sure they'll use them.
