This worked perfectly for my banister. I would’ve bought two but already had the top wood piece! Very easy to install, lightweight, and doesn’t look bad. Easy to align and the wood is easy to drill in. Highly recommend!

I felt like we had to buy this problem in order to make our baby gate work, it was our only choice. Even saying that... I hated that we had to use this product. The bolts were approximately the right length but the t-nut, that allows the whole thing to stay together when the screw goes in, popped right out on both ends. There's nothing to keep it come coming out, it was very frustrating to try to install these. We ended up having to put two long screws through another part of this and then put styrofoam and duct tape at the back. Awful.

This worked great for where I was putting my gate. It allowed me to secure it to a wall on one side, and to the newel post on the other. I had to get this clamp, and the other square clamp that they have, because the top of the gate would be secure to the part of the newel post that was a block, and this clamp would be used to secure around the middle of the gate, which was the round part of the newel post. It works perfect!! It allowed me to put the gate where the living room separates the entire entry area where the stairs are, meaning I could just buy this one gate and extension, rather then buy two or three separate gates, saving me a little cash!
