The unit pulls the described moisture as described in the listing. Unfortunately this unit frosted up and never defrosted but Homelabs promised immediately to replace the unit. I await the new unit. I love the quick response.About 10 days after I wrote this review the new unit arrived. It pleased me as well.

Have had for over a year now and still going strong and working good. I hooked up hose to lead to sum-pump so I didn't have to empty bucket all the time. Use late spring to late summer.

As described..works well, a little noisy when running.

I purchased my unit in the fall of 2021 in MI, so I used it for the first time the summer of 2022 and it worked fine. I have tried to get it to work this summer and it simply will not. I have tried all the trouble shooting tricks recommended by the company's chat service (they no longer have live customer service, despite their advertising materials saying otherwise) and it simply will not work. They are saying it is outside the warranty period and therefore to just throw it away. A device like this should last 5-20 seasons, not 1. Completely unacceptable. Find another brand.

I purchased this refurbished. However, it runs like it is brand new! The noise level is minimal and I really don't notice it at all. It does not release alot of heat if any at all like I have read in previous reviews. I live in Texas where the humidity level is high and boy does this dehumidifier work! I have a lofted open space living room and you can definitely feel the difference in the humidity level when this is on. I have to empty the canister daily and reuse the water for my plants (got this idea from a previous review)Definitely recommend!!!

It's located in my bedroom and I have to empty it 3 times a day. I had no idea it was that humid in my house. Works great!

Has a hose hookup unlike other brands which is great because it fills QUICK. Very nice unit!

I was concerned about the sound, but it is the same as a small fan. I was surprised at the amount of moisture it took out of our room. Hopefully, this with address the humidity/moisture issue.
