Blue Frog: The Legend of Chocolate Hardcover – Picture Book, September 28, 2011

Very well received by my students K - 5th. One page seemed to repeat but I wing it as I read/perform this story.

This delightful book is a charming way for both adults and children to learn the lore behind the creation of chocolate from cacao beans in ancient Aztec culture. One of the most colorful children's books we've come across, Blue Frog offers a peak into other cultures and history regarding one of the most popular food ingredients most of us in the 21st century take for granted - chocolate! The recipe for authentic Mexican Hot Cocoa at the end of the story is a nice bonus.
