Heavy Duty Billet Door Poppers for Shaved Door Kit

Great quality, firm spring. I mounted mine in hinge jamb area due to limited options. Works well and strong enough to pop the door. Hole needs to be drilled the exact size to leave enough material for mounting screws. I used a cone style bit and checked after each transition.

The media could not be loaded. They are very nice door popper’s, high quality. I used them on my 2000 Silverado, the only thing is the mounting holes are very close to the center, but it still possible to drill pilot holes for mounting. The sleeve covers the screws after so still looks good.

The holes predrilled to mount these are not centered...and are so close to the edge of the hole needed to install the spring plunger...no way it will hold in the door jam. Too bad - they are a nice product other than they can't be installed!Also - Asked for a return. You have pay for shipping - even though they are defective. I sent an email - no response. I left a voice message on their listed phone - no response. Bad product. Bad customer service.Only thanks to Amazon did I receive credit. They are still sitting here waiting for a response to return.

These poppers worked well in my 1937 Pontiac 4 door. They are mounted in hinge area of the door jam as there is no area in the latch post to mount them. There is only 1/4" clearence when the door is closed and the pins retract completely.You do need to be careful drilling the holes. Best to go one size smaller and file until they fit. The attachment screw location is very close to the main hole, so angle the screw holes away from the center.

Using 1 to give a custom swing out tailgate the initial push open. Strong enough to push it, but still easy to close. Still works great even after dunking in mud.

I have ordered many of these door poppers for different projects, they are very reliable.
