Was excited to get a 5 star rated item at a good price, 1st time I used it I knew something was wrong, I was getting erratic readings. Contacted the vendor and explained, they offer me 1/2 off if I bought another one, I said I wanted one that worked, they said I should contact Amazon. Not happy with this vendor, still need to contact Amazon to see what they will do.

Stopped working after using it a couple of times. Replaced battery still nothing, just a blank display. Dont't waste your money.

I used this two times in three weeks and it just stopped working all together. Won't turn on, I even tried new batteries. Not recommended at all.

We had a food thermometer that was just like this but it broke, and this one feels a tad bit flimsy compared to that one, but so far has worked well. WE like that the tip is thin, so you can jab small pieces of meat to read the temp.

Tested it right out of the box with a cup of cold tap water. Manual thermometer read 64 degrees...the new instant read thermometer showed 121 degrees. Was way off on warm temps also....returned as defective.

Quite cheap. Time will tell.

Love it!!! works like a charm. I'm not a professional BBQ pitmaster or anything like that so the fact that it gives me readings instantly is great. would recommend to buy with confidence.
