After way too many hours of reviews and research and trying see if I could get a MPPT solar charge controller and then realizing that any MPPT unit under $100 was a China fraud advertising as a MPPT. So I made a gamble with the Allspower unit. Bottom line this thing works above and beyond my expectations and to hell with all the chasing of a few extra watts. I have a 100 watt panel on a garden shed for for some interior and exterior lighting. At noon with the sun it directly I am pulling out as much as 7.5 amp @ 14.5 volts. Once the battery is charged it easily maintains the float voltage of 13.7. The only issue I had is it does not like to have a invertor hooked up too the output. But that is a minor issue. Follow the instruction and it works, my batteries were at about 30% capacity and with in 2 days they were were fully charged. Bottom line for most systems this unit will do the job hands down with no issues.
