I planted 6 of the 12 bulbs I ordered (gave the others to a friend to try) and in about 3 days they were coming up through the soil. It's been a week as of today and they are well on their way to being beautiful plants, they even have flowers already starting to bloom. I did exactly as the instructions said, only watering once until growth shows. They have several plants growing from each bulb. I've never seen anything grow so quickly and so well like these iron cross shamrocks. They were very healthy bulbs. I'm going to order more plants from this merchant as I couldn't be more pleased. They also sent a couple extra bulbs in the pack. Thank you for the beautiful, healthy plants! I'll send another review when they're bigger, this pic is only 7 days after planting.

So I will come back with the photos as soon as they grow. I’m excited about these - they look cool in the photo and I am curious how fast they will grow and how big they get. The bulbs were in tact and looked healthy.. so, I’m expecting some awesome results- my initial rating is for the bulbs and the instructions were very easy. I have a few green and purple shamrock plants that I’ve had for years, but decided I wanted the iron cross ones. Within four to five days of planting, they began sprouting, and now two weeks later they have even began flowering. I am definitely happy with this supplier and will be ordering more in the future.

I have purchased two varieties of shamrocks from CZ Grain: Iron Cross and Oxalis Triangularis (purple), and have had great luck with both! I have grown them indoors and outdoors. The shamrocks germinate very quickly and produce big, beautiful shamrock petals and flowers. I find them to be very hearty, and they thrive in my zone 5a summer climate. After summer, I move the plants indoors. After many years, I did have one issue with an order. CZ Grain responded by providing world class customer service. Like, above and beyond. Highly recommend.

I am so disappointed. I purchased these with the intention of planting them and sharing the plants with a friend whose birthday is St Patricks Day. I received a little bag with tiny bulbs and no instructions were included? I planted them in little peat pods and kept them moist, with the intention of transplanting them once they came up. They never came up. It has been well over a month now, and not a sign of them. Today I dug one up to see if there were at least any sign of life? I'm pretty sure the bulb is dead. It felt papery and no sign of any root. Maybe I planted it incorrectly, but since there were no instructions, I thought I was doing the right thing? Garden season is coming and I was hoping for these to be a showpiece. Instead they are just garbage.

Planted in early spring, came up just in time for summer. Flowers are lovely!
